manda_draughon asked: I used to want to be a writer, a poet, or a journalist but it seems the path to those roads are risky becuase not all writers make it out there. And I dont want a dead end job. Please help this is my passion and I dont know what to do with it.

sk692 asked: This book changed my life. It provoked in me questions about human existence. It made me think about the beautiful journey of life and the grim finalities of death. Siddhartha’s story has touched my soul like nothing else on earth. Although it didnt bring me to any conclusions about existence, it did make me aware of it; TRULY aware of my being. It showed me everything from the perils of religion, greed and selfishness to the importance of friendship, love and meditation. After reading it, after journeying with Siddhartha on his path to self discovery, after being torn apart my the depressing fact that is death and being built back up by the magnificent adventure that is life, i have become a better person. I feel wiser, more mature, more open minded and with far more insightful eyes to look at the world through.
Though i am still a young teenager, i know that Herman Hesse’s writings will stay with me forever.
Has this book made an impact on anyone else’s life?
